What’s my role?
As Client Service Director, you’ll be a member of Hotwire Australia’s leadership team, and balance an agency-wide leadership role with responsibility for client portfolios that meet targeted revenue goals. You’ll provide strong, inspirational leadership, work with the MD, Strategy Director and CD to create collective vision and purpose; and align the Client Service team’s efforts to this vision. When you’re CSD at Hotwire, you’ll celebrates success; steady the ship in challenging times, and win the hearts and minds of the team to achieve our goals. You’ll be a key decision maker, and problem solver - and as such, trusted by all to act for the greater good of Hotwire in line with our values. You will be a strategic advisor to clients, and a trail blazing thought leader in the communications industry.
What can I expect?
You’ll help drive the strategy and direction of Hotwire Australia, as well as influence the direction of the global business. You’ll work with your Program Directors to develop strategic business plans for their portfolios, and support them in delivering on these plans. You’ll make resourcing decisions, and be actively involved in recruitment, making sure we’re bringing the right people into the business to achieve our goals.
While taking ultimate responsibility for achieving targets across the PR/Communication client portfolio, you’ll also be empowered to contribute on a broader organisational level. You’ll get to participate in the annual Hotwire Directors’ Forum, which helps shape global company strategy, as well as sitting on local leadership team to drive the direction, culture and success of Hotwire Australia. As CSD, you will have responsibility for a specific business challenge that sits across the office, such as driving client service, client development or efficient resourcing; developing new products and services, or driving our expansion into new markets.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years’ experience in a dynamic PR/Comms environment within the innovation, tech or B2B space ideally within an agency setting
- 3 + years’ in a senior leadership role with proven experience in driving exceptional client service, development and team resourcing
- A genuine passion and interest in technology
- A strong new business track record
- A sound understanding of agency operations and a passion for process improvement
- Exceptional skills as a people manager with demonstrated experience mentoring and developing high performing teams
- An entrepreneurial outlook
