To support Chatmeter, we took the approach of “practicing what we preach.” We developed a program that focused on a consistent message of trust and honesty that Chatmeter touts for its customers and parlayed that for media and influencers through a data-led and research-driven approach. To stand out from the noise in the space, we created a bold and diverse content program (based off of research and data) that we pushed out through a variety of channels including bylined articles, blogs, webinars, speaking presentations and more. In addition, we led Chatmeter towards creating a unique point-of-view on trending topics like local search, the retail apocalypse and voice engine optimization (a term coined by Chatmeter) that aligned with both marketing and sales initiatives and positioned Chatmeter as a tool/resource for how to brand trust and loyalty with customers.
Beyond receiving 145 total pieces of coverage a little more than a year into the start of our engagement and interacting with over 100 influencers, Chatmeter has seen its business grow by nearly 700% over the last few years. Chatmeter’s marketing team has also grown from a single part-time employee to a team of more than 5 dedicated marketing professionals including a head of marketing. The company has also grown its employee count 44% in the past 6 months alone. We have supported Chatmeter through 18 speaking opportunities and events – from topic development through creating speaker presentations.
