Campaign overview

In keeping with international university best practice, UNSW is transitioning to a new three-term academic calendar, offering greater flexibility and maximising university resources throughout the year. The challenge for Hotwire was to create an effective change communications strategy across many different university stakeholder groups so people felt informed at every step of the journey.

What we did

Hotwire created the UNSW3+ campaign to build awareness and help communicate the benefits of the new calendar and work alongside the University’s master brand. We developed a toolkit of visual assets to form powerful, engaging brand communications tailored to appeal to all stakeholders. This included the UNSW3+ brand, style guide, printed collateral, environmental graphics and a study plan microsite to highlight the benefits and changes to all university stakeholders. The ongoing campaign has been highly effective in engaging the UNSW community and managing the transition.
