Hotwire named among ‘Great Companies to Work For’ by The Sunday Times

Hotwire Global

Hotwire has been awarded the highest level of accreditation in the annual Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For list that was announced on Wednesday night. The three star rating is only awarded to companies with “extraordinary” levels of workplace engagement when compared to other UK companies and so represents a tremendous achievement by our UK business.

This recognition is a testament to the culture that has been created over the last 20 years. Our people are what makes us who we are, and I am proud that we continue to attract and retain the top talent in the industry. We also have the best people and culture team in the business, who work tirelessly to create an environment where people can express themselves freely and create a career that is built with  them.

So, for me, what are the top 3 things that make a great place to work?

  1. Community

A community that serves a purpose can really make a change in this world. No agency connects like we do at our annual Bootcamp . Once a year, we bring every single employee and affiliate partner together in a single location to meet, learn and celebrate. It is the highlight of our year and allows us to build relationships that last.

We want our employees to thrive professionally and personally and recognise the need for fulfilment, meaning and giving back. Alongside our agency partnership with WaterAid , we also allow for individual voluntary work, for a charity that is meaningful to them.

  1. Trust

Life doesn’t always fit around 9-5 in the office. That is why we introduced thoughtful working, which allows flexible working times and locations, focussed around accountable outputs. Showing this trust to our employees makes them happier and healthier. Which in turn allows them to work smarter. We also offer a sponsored sabbatical after four years of continuing service in the UK.  By driving ambitious balance, we strive to unleash our full potential, whilst ensuring our employees are fully charged.

  1. Innovation

It is all too easy for organisations to fall into the analysis trap and focus on left-brain skills like process, measurement, and execution. It’s important that we embrace right-brained skills too, including: creativity, imagination, analogy, and empathy. That’s why we are constantly evolving our integrated marcomms capabilities, based on not only our clients’ needs and our employee interests, but also building expertise, shaped around the world we live in.

There has never been a better time to join Hotwire and we are recruiting globally, so if you are looking for your next role, apply here: https://hotwireglobal.com/careers. It’s our mission to be the best agency you’ll ever work with.
